Adicio (“we,” “us,” “our”) is the publisher of https://adicio.com/ (the “Site”). We create educational, comparison-focused content to help people evaluate online poker sites — including real money poker rooms, bonuses, software quality, payout experiences, and player safety features.

This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit the Site, how we use it, and the choices you have — including privacy rights available to certain US state residents.

What we collect

We keep data collection lightweight. Depending on how you use the Site, we may collect:

Information you provide to us

  • Contact details and message content if you email us or use a contact form (for example: your email address and the contents of your message).

We do not require user accounts, and we do not collect payment information because we do not sell products or accept bets.

Information collected automatically

When you browse the Site, we (and our service providers) may collect:

  • Device and browsing data: IP address, browser type, device/OS, pages viewed, time spent, referrer URL, and general location inferred from IP (city/state-level).

  • Cookie identifiers and similar IDs: used for analytics, ad delivery, and affiliate attribution.

  • Link interaction data: clicks on outbound links, link-out events, and basic engagement signals.

Sensitive information

We do not intentionally collect sensitive categories of personal information (such as government ID numbers, precise geolocation, health data, or financial account details). If you include sensitive information in a message to us, please understand it may be stored as part of that correspondence.

How we use information

We use information to:

  • Operate and maintain the Site (deliver pages, fix bugs, improve performance).

  • Respond to messages when you contact us.

  • Measure and understand traffic (what content helps users most, what pages need improvement).

  • Improve content quality (for example, refining how we explain KYC, payouts, bonuses, and safety checks).

  • Prevent abuse and protect the Site (spam prevention, fraud detection, security monitoring).

  • Support advertising and affiliate attribution (so we can understand whether a click led to a signup or purchase and maintain our business model).

Cookies and tracking

The Site uses cookies and similar technologies (like pixels and local storage) for a few common reasons:

  • Site functionality (basic performance and stability)

  • Analytics (understanding visits and content performance)

  • Advertising (showing or measuring ads, limiting repeated ads)

  • Affiliate tracking (measuring when a reader clicks a link and later completes an action on a partner site)

Affiliate links may include tracking parameters such as UTMs, click IDs, or partner identifiers. These help attribute a referral so the Site can receive a commission.

Managing cookies

You can control cookies in several ways:

  • Use your browser settings to block or delete cookies.

  • Use private browsing modes (which may reduce stored cookies).

  • On some devices, you can reset advertising identifiers in system settings.

If you block cookies, some features may not work as expected, and ad or analytics signals may be less accurate.

Do Not Sell or Share

If you are a resident of certain US states, you may have the right to opt out of certain types of data “sale” or “sharing” (as those terms are defined under state privacy laws). To opt out, email [email protected] with the subject line “Do Not Sell or Share”.

We also honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals where feasible as an opt-out of “sale/share” for the browser or device sending the signal.

Advertising, analytics, and affiliates

Adicio may use:

  • Analytics tools (to understand audience trends and site performance)

  • Advertising partners/ad networks (to display or measure ads)

  • Affiliate partners (to track outbound referrals and attribute commissions)

We avoid naming specific vendors here because vendors can change over time. Regardless of vendor, the purpose remains the same: to measure performance, keep the Site running, and fund our editorial work through advertising and affiliate commissions.

Affiliate disclosure

Some outbound links on the Site are affiliate links. If you click and later sign up or make a purchase, we may earn a commission. This does not typically change the price you pay, and we aim to keep editorial decisions independent from monetization.

Sharing of information

We may share information in limited ways:

  • Service providers who help run the Site (hosting, analytics, security/anti-abuse, customer support tooling).

  • Advertising and affiliate partners for measurement, attribution, and ad delivery.

  • Legal and compliance: if required to comply with law, respond to lawful requests, or protect our rights and users.

We do not sell personal information for money. However, under some state privacy laws, certain advertising or measurement activities may be considered “sharing” (for example, cross-context behavioral advertising).

Your privacy rights (US states)

Depending on where you live, you may have rights such as:

  • Access/Know: request the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have about you.

  • Delete: request deletion of personal information we hold (with certain exceptions).

  • Correct: request correction of inaccurate information.

  • Opt out: opt out of targeted advertising and/or the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information (as defined by applicable law).

  • Non-discrimination: you won’t be penalized for exercising your rights.

California (CPRA)

California residents may have the rights to:

  • Know/access, delete, correct, and obtain a portable copy of certain personal information.

  • Opt out of the sale/share of personal information.

  • Limit use/disclosure of sensitive personal information (note: we do not intentionally collect or use sensitive PI for such purposes).

Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, and Utah

Residents of these states may have rights to:

  • Access and delete personal information.

  • Correct inaccuracies (where applicable).

  • Opt out of targeted advertising and certain data sharing.

  • Appeal a denied request (where applicable).

How to exercise your rights

Email [email protected] with:

  • Your request (for example: “Access Request” or “Delete Request”)

  • The email address you used to contact us (if applicable)

  • Any details that help us locate the information (for example, the date/time you contacted us)

We may ask for basic verification to confirm you are the requestor (for example, responding from the same email address you used).

Appeals

If you believe we improperly denied a request, email [email protected] with “Appeal” in the subject line and include a brief explanation. We’ll review and respond.

Data retention and security

We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes described above:

  • Analytics data is typically retained for up to 24 months (depending on configuration).

  • Server/security logs are typically retained for up to 12 months.

  • Contact messages are kept as long as needed to resolve the request and maintain basic records.

We use reasonable safeguards such as HTTPS, access controls, and regular software updates. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we can’t guarantee absolute security.

Children’s privacy

The Site is intended for adults and is not directed to individuals under 21. If you are under 21, do not use the Site or submit personal information. If we learn we’ve collected personal information from someone under 21, we will delete it where reasonably possible.

Third-party links

The Site contains links to third-party websites (such as poker operators and related services). We are not responsible for their privacy practices. Please review their privacy policies before providing information or creating accounts.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We’ll post updates on this page and revise the “Last updated” date above.
